Second time buying this. Bought a small size first just to try. So effective I ended up buying another bottle to treat the rest of my plants. Have and would continue to recommend.
I’m still struggling with the pest after using the powder as directed in my waterings and as a top spray. I’m disappointed that I spent so much money on the product
I have recommended Pretry in Green to all my Facebook plant groups. Every time someone asks about gnats all sorts of people speak up about neem oil, diatomaceous earth, mosquito bits, etc. But none of those things worked for me. The ONLY thing that has ever worked is Pretty in Green's gnat killer, Bti. It is 13x more powerful than mosquito bits and it is much easier to prepare. Just put in 3 to 5 teaspoons per gallon for an infestation. Drench thr plants making sure all thr soil is covered. Then keep thr sticky pads in each pot to collect thr adults. The following week, there were significantly less adults. So I drenched them again. Thr following week - no adults! I've had this happen twice over thr last 2 years and it worked well both times. I really can't recommend this product enough.
And thr company, its customer service is great! On my first order I had questions and they answered me patiently and thoroughly. I was so impressed!
Plus I believe in supporting small businesses before bit box stores. (Not that you could find this anywhere else) It is expensive, but so worth it. The mosquito bits have to be added to the water, wait a day, strain thrm out before watering. Then the gnats just laughed at my attempt to kill them. 😆
So save yourself the trouble and just start with the Bti from Pretty in Green.
Ever since I had one large plant become infested( who knows it could have came with eggs) anyway, this product does truly work I just have not used it long enough for irradication of those pesty buggers in my home. That is the only reason I have not given it 5 stars vs. the 4.
It seems to be working. I have not seen any gnats since applying the solution.
